R. Kelly is currently being investigated in Georgia for his actions in the past of having sex with teenage girls, videotaping them, and assaulting them on Lifetime’s recent Surviving R. Kelly documentary series which lasted over three days. Now, he’s about to be evicted from the infamous Chicago studio that he owns, according to The Blast.
Kelly has two weeks to pay up the $80,000 he owes for the property on the west side of Chicago. Midwest Commercial Funding owns the building and originally filed the eviction lawsuit in July of 2018. The original deal for Kelly to pay for the property went for 10 years with a monthly payment of $22,927.41.
The Blast also added that failure to pay two balloon payments and lack of monthly payments is when the eviction process started. Once Kelly is out, the studio would go on the market for $3.9 million.
Hopefully, all of these legal situations following the airing of Surviving R. Kelly will bring justice to the victims of R. Kelly. Kelly has gotten away with these crimes for over a decade.
