The Washington Wizards are in the midst of a transitional period as John Wall recovers from Achilles surgery and Bradley Beals future in Washington in doubt. One thing that isn’t uncertain is Dwight Howard is not apart of the Wizards future.
After just one season in Washington, Howard was traded to the Memphis Grizzlies for C.J Miles, and the Wizards don’t seem to be sweating that decision at all.
In fact, in an article written by Adrian Wojnarowski for ESPN.com, Wizards general manager Tommy Sheppard was quoted on the Howard trade and said,
The quickest trade I’ve ever done in my life”
Dwight Howard has a negative vibe surrounding him, so it made sense.
