Kevin Garnett Annoyed After the WCF Victory as Michael Finley Is Seen Stealing Luka Doncic’s Beer : “It’s a man’s league”

Michael Finley amassed an astounding 996 thefts during the course of his 15-year NBA career. But nothing compared to his most recent one, in which the 51-year-old deftly removed a beer can from Luka Doncic after the Dallas Mavericks won the Western Conference Finals. This funny incident quickly gained widespread attention on social media, prompting Kevin Garnett to respond in opposition.

KG posted a video of the whole incident to his Instagram account and stated,

“It’s a man’s league…Can you imagine telling [Dennis] Rodman he couldn’t have a beer FOH…Watch out…The Don wants a beer, The Don gets a beer…Tf…Just saying”.

In light of the significance of the occasion, Garnett’s remarks were somewhat understandable. Ultimately, the squad’s 124-103 triumph in the fifth game against the Minnesota Timberwolves guaranteed the teams’ lone third-ever and Doncic’s inaugural trip to the NBA Finals.

Kevin Garnett just hated how Luka Doncic was treated

The Slovenian lucky charm was just sipping a beer in the tunnel beside his father, relishing in his accomplishment. Finley unexpectedly entered the room during the festivities and removed the can from Doncic’s hand. The 2007 champion then gave the Mavs star’s father a hug before walking away from the scene without looking at the 25-year-old.

KG felt uneasy about this. He definitely didn’t understand Finley’s motivation for doing what he did. Furthermore, Doncic did not violate any codes of conduct to warrant such a harsh public punishment.

Nevertheless, Finley was also carrying out his duties as vice president and assistant general manager of the team. In a roundabout way, he was trying to remind himself of the greater goal by disciplining the team’s lucky charm.

The Illinois native did not want the players to lose focus halfway through the voyage because the NBA Finals start in a few days. Doncic acknowledges that the Boston Celtics will present the Mavs with previously unheard-of obstacles.
