It all began when the internet’s most unbothered provocateur, Brittany Renner, appeared in a homey video that Kevin Gates shared on Instagram. Like high school sweethearts on prom night, Gates and Renner can be heard singing along to “Candy Rain” in the video. The caption? Just one word: “Bae.”
Enter Pursian P, a lady who says she has dated Gates and that before he went on Instagram with Renner, she literally just lay up in bed with him.

Pursian P didn’t mince words. She vilified Gates and Renner in a now-viral video and a string of Instagram posts. She said:
“A man that deals with multiple women,
yet you’re dealing with one. How contradicting is that?”
“Was this the clout y’all was looking for?
To make herself lit on her little show for Basketball Wives? Cause she has no one else, obviously.”
“You literally turn to Islam because you’re on your last leg…it’s honestly just a mockery to the religion. Cut it out.”
She attacked Gates for gaslighting, love bombing, and using women as props in his emotional carnival. She didn’t stop there, though. She also took issue with Renner’s recent spiritual awakening, referring to her conversion to Islam as a fad that makes fun of religion and suggesting that it was done to give her Basketball Wives plot more nuance.
Kevin Gates is at the center of this conflict, while Renner and Pursian P appear to be at war. While the internet burns, you can relax in the automobile with a new woman. However, Pursian’s defeat presented him as the true antagonist.
