Myles Garrett, a defensive end for the Cleveland Browns, is just one sack away from matching the NFL single-season record of 22.5. His off-field incident with his girlfriend’s father is making headlines, just as his on-field performance does.
Garrett, a 29-year-old who could earn Defensive Player of the Year, has been a bright spot for the 3-11 Browns. With three games remaining, he can surpass T.J. Watt of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Michael Strahan of the New York Giants for the most sacks in a season.
He’s had a significant year in his personal life as well. Since they were spotted together at the Crunchyroll Anime Awards in Tokyo in March, Garrett and Kim, a 25-year-old snowboarder who won two gold medals in the Olympics, have been connected.
On the football field, they even cutely raced one another. She was spotted cheering him on in the stands at the game against the Cincinnati Bengals on November 25. Her family was standing next to her, and the two had a cute moment.
He is seen kissing her in the video, but it only gained popularity until someone noticed her father, Jong Jin Kim, turning around and shaking his head while placing his palm on his forehead.

Kim’s parents are immigrants from South Korea, and she is Korean American. Public kissing is frowned upon in Korean society.
It can cause discomfort for others and is perceived as being unduly affectionate. However, Kim’s father’s response was unsettling. It’s still quite funny. However, public kissing is also prevalent in other Asian societies. Take a look at how Shohei Ohtani kissed the puppy rather than his wife Mamiko after winning MVP.
In any case, Garrett’s kiss and that one have both gone viral. At least Garrett refrained from telling her, “Hasta la vista, baby!” while wearing his Halloween costume.
