New photographs of New England Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel and NFL reporter Dianna Russini have surfaced showing the two sharing drinks at a bar around the time of the NFL scouting combine.
The images, first posted Thursday on the social media platform X by a Boston sports account and credited to an Instagram account, show Vrabel and Russini seated at a wooden bar counter with several beer bottles in front of them. Vrabel, in a white shirt with his arms crossed, faces Russini, who appears engaged in conversation with him. A metal ice bucket and other bar items are visible in the foreground.
The photos come days after Page Six published images from late March showing Vrabel and Russini together at the Ambiente resort in Sedona, Arizona. Those earlier pictures depicted the pair in swimsuits lounging by a pool and hot tub and holding hands and embracing on a rooftop deck. Both are married to other people.
Vrabel, 50, and Russini, 43, a senior NFL insider for The Athletic, issued statements after the Arizona photos were published, saying the images were taken out of context and did not show the full group of people they were with. Russini described the interactions as typical for journalists and sources away from stadiums. Their employers defended the encounters as professional.

Neither has commented publicly on the latest photographs as of Thursday evening.
Vrabel, a former Patriots player and longtime NFL coach, was hired as New England’s head coach in 2025 after leading the Tennessee Titans. Russini previously worked as an ESPN “SportsCenter” anchor and Titans beat reporter before joining The Athletic. The two have known each other professionally for years, dating to her coverage of his Titans tenure that began in 2018.
The NFL Combine, held in Indianapolis in late February or early March, draws coaches, players, executives and media members for extensive on- and off-field work and informal interactions. The new images have drawn attention on social media amid the ongoing discussion of the Arizona photos.
