Before Barry Sanders became an NFL superstar, he was one of the most dominant college football players of all time at Oklahoma State. Stanford is hoping that college success runs in the family.
Sanders’ son, Barry J. Sanders, has committed to Stanford, according to ESPN.com.
The younger Sanders made the announcement on Saturday at the U.S. Army All-American Bowl. He reportedly selected Stanford over Alabama, Florida State and his father’s alma mater.
“I get the chance to play with the greatest student-athletes in the world,” Sanders said while donning a Cardinal red and white hat.
