Interesting tidbit from ESPN’s Chris Broussard about the Knicks pitch to DeAndre Jordan. According to Broussard, they are going to tell Jordan he can be #2 option behind Carmelo Anthony.
This is interesting because Jordan is not known as an offensive player and can’t shoot free throws, so putting any offensive responsibility on him is risky at best.
Broussard notes that Jordan isn’t content just being the 3rd wheel behind Chris Paul and Blake Griffin in LA, so it could be a major selling point for him.
