For years, Los Angeles southside crip Orlando Anderson has been suspecting of being the one who pulled the trigger on 2Pac in Las Vegas in September 1996 which ultimately lead to his death. The motive has been Anderson retaliating due to Pac attacking him at the MGM Grand shortly after a Mike Tyson fight. 2Pac heard that Anderson stole one of his friend’s Death Row Records chain. Anderson’s uncle, known as Keffe D, was in the same vehicle as Anderson.
On BET’s Death Row Chronicles series, Keffe D said he was in the front seat of the Cadillac that Anderson was also in. He said that that they were on their way to Club 662 shortly after the Mike Tyson fight. They heard that 2Pac and Suge Knight would also be in that club. When they never ended up showing up, they decided to leave.
Once Keffe D, Anderson and their crew were driving back up to the Las Vegas Strip, they noticed 2Pac coming out of his BMW’s sunroof due to women from another car shouting his name. The driver of Keffe D and Anderson’s vehicle hit a u-turn and drove right next to 2Pac and Knight at a red light. Keffe D said that he and Knight stared down one another due to them knowing each other.
When asked on Death Row Chronicles who pulled the trigger on 2Pac that moment, Keffe D said that he’s just gonna stick to the street code and say that the shots came from the back seat.
