My homie Big G put it real simply when he told me the other day:
“Rob either Tiger going to come back killing dudes or he is going to flame out.”
I will give Tiger this if he was wanted to show people he isn’t scare of the limelight coming back at the Masters is a good start.
He could have came back to a lesser tournament and not caused as much attention, but Tiger has went from a “serial killer” on the golf course to a “baby cub” off of it and they only way to get his serial killer status back is to win and to win majors.
Tiger reminds me of an invincible boxer who finally loses or gets knocked out for the first time.
There is only way to go after is to bounce back like Ali or he ends up like Roy Jones Jr.
Bill Simmons would like that.
Here is what Tiger had to say:
“The major championships have always been a special focus in my career and, as a professional, I think Augusta is where I need to be, even though it’s been a while since I last played.”
“I have undergone almost two months of inpatient therapy and I am continuing my treatment,” Woods said in his statement. “Although I’m returning to competition, I still have a lot of work to do in my personal life.”
The one thing I am concerned with Tiger is he has allowed his wife to wear the pants in the family even though it is obvious to me she beat him. How will that effect his golf game? Who knows, but it bears watching.
