In what seems to be tradition for the FSU Seminoles, another player from the football program has been arrested.
It is reported that expected starting Linebacker Nigel Carr was arrested Sunday for DMX-like charges which include credit-card theft, using/possessing the identification of another person without consent, two counts of burglary and property damage of less than $200………Oh and by the way Carr was arrested for Marijuana possession LESS THAN 4 DAYS PRIOR TO THIS ARREST
Carr is currently being held in custody at the Leon County Jail on bond exceeding $15,000.
Initially details of the situation were a little suspect, but Head Coach Jimbo Fisher late this afternoon had confirmed the felony arrest to the Tallahassee Democrat and stated that Nigel would indeed be suspended.
Here are more details on the situation courtesy of the Orlando Sentinel
A female’s white Toyota SUV was broken into on Sunday off Hayden Road, across the street from Doak Campbell Stadium. Missing from the vehicle: a “book bag,” according to police, containing a purse and other items. Carr is the suspect in the burglary. Police say Carr threw some of the contents he allegedly stole into a dumpster. But that he kept the victim’s credit card. And that he kept a piece of paper with the name of the victim’s father and his credit card number written on it. Those two items, police say, were found in a white sedan Carr allegedly drives.
Further, police say Carr is the suspect in another car burglary. This one allegedly happened on Saturday. In that alleged burglary, a check book went missing from the car. That check book was discovered near the same dumpster where the “first” victim – the one whose white Toyota SUV was allegedly broken into – found some of her belongings. There are other items allegedly missing from the “second” victim’s vehicle. Police say it believes those items are in Carr’s residence.
According to police, there is a surveillance video showing a black male, matching Carr’s descriptions, depositing items into a dumpster after the alleged burglary of the Toyota SUV.
So you are going to tell me that this dude could not wait at least a week after his last arrest before he started auditioning for the Bengals? SMH
