I am aware when you are dealing with interracial couples, there are still a lot of people uncomfortable with that. I am also aware that it is more likely that if people see a white and black couple arguing they are more prone to call the authorities than if they saw and white couple or black couple.
So when ESPN’s Howard Bryant claimed the police showed racial bias against him, I didn’t dismiss it.
The problem I had with it, was the witnesses who saw him choking his wife. It is hard to say five independent people would come up with same story just because he was black and his wife was white.

Does that sound like a woman who has been the victim of racial prejudice or a woman who knows if she says what really happened all that ESPN money is going down the drain?
