Amazingly the motorcyclist isn’t dead.
He had on a helmet and that is a good safety lesson. I don’t think Bush will be worrying about making the Tampa Bay Ray’s roster anytime soon.
Bush just wasn’t a little drunk, but as you will see he was plastered.
Troopers, along with Charlotte County Sheriff’s deputies, responded at 5:27 p.m. to U.S. 41 south of SR 776 in Port Charlotte and discovered a green 2000 Harley-Davidson motorcycle on its side. The driver of the motorcycle, Anthony B. Tufano, 72, was transported to Lee Memorial Hospital with serious injuries.
Investigators learned Tufano was struck by a black Dodge Durango and then run over, according to a sheriff’s office release.
Bush blew a .180 and a .171 during a subsequent breath test. The report states that he has previous DUI charges in California and Arizona. The legal blood-alcohol limit in Florida is 0.08.
