Maybe Plax and T.O can have a reality show?
Because it looks like they both will be out of work this season.
The Giants tried to bring back former receiving star Plaxico Burress once. But they have no plans to do it again.
With one emphatic shake of his head, head coach Tom Coughlin made that clear on Tuesday morning, just before the Giants Foundation Golf Outing at the Westchester Country Club. Big Blue lost top wideout Hakeem Nicks, who broke the fifth metatarsal in his right foot on Thursday, and aside from Victor Cruz, the Giants have little experience in the receiving corps.
Still, Coughlin quickly dismissed any thought of bringing back Burress, who spent last season with the Jets and is currently a free agent. When asked about a Burress return, the coach shook his head and mouthed one word: “No.”
