You would think there would be a statute of limitation on something like this. It wasn’t murder, it was a speeding ticket.
Back when Joey Porter was in college in 1999, he was arrested for speeding and driving with a suspended license. He missed his last court appearance and the warrant was issued.
Porter played with Steelers, Dolphins and Cardinals in the NFL, so he never was busted in Colorado where the warrant was issued, but now he is going back to get his degree, so he had to take care of this.
He turned himself in according to Pro Football Talk, where he was booked and then released on $1100 Bond.
Talk about carrying a grudge.
