I don’t think Jones is happy that the Cowboys aren’t succeeding more, but he is content being average, making millions off his stadium and having a coach that doesn’t mind him meddling.
If he fired Garrett, the pressure would be on to hire a big name coach that would challenge his authority and I doubt he wants that.
