At least one Gator fan still appreciates Gators QB Jeff Driskel. Driskel began the year as the Gators starting QB but lost his job to Treon Harris as the season wore on. Needless to say, it hasn’t been a pretty year on the field for Driskel, but one Navy veteran and Gators fan wanted Driskel to know that he’s still appreciated.
Captain E.R. Gilkison wrote an open letter to Driskel thanking him for his work with the team and even went on to say that he was a huge fan of Driskel’s “courage” and “commitment” to the Gators football program. Here’s a look at the full letter to Driskel.

This was nice of Captain Gilkison considering the not so pleasant year Driskel has been having. Hopefully, it’s appreciated.
