Jeromyah Jones is a young, talented and upcoming artist that is doing great things in the community.
I am going to let him describe it in his own words.
I am a 25 year old professional artist writing you about me and my father’s collection of autographed portrait paintings called, “Ingenious Athletic Minds (I AM)” that were on view at Raymond Neblett’s Inner City Youth Basketball Camp held at Virginia Union University. Michael Jordan, Doug Williams, Willie Lanier, Terry Bradshaw, Serena Williams, Dr. J, Muhammad Ali, Hank Aaron, Tom Brady, Arthur Ashe, Ben Wallace, Reggie Williams, LaVar Arrington, Cal Ripken, Jr., Evander Holyfield, Michael Vick, Joe Gibbs, David Thompson, and many more have either met, commissioned, or autographed our portraits.
This innovative presentation of teaching life lessons through art and sports combined would be a dynamic event for you to do a human interest story because we are teaching the younger generation the history of the games they are playing in the paintings. Covering the youth, the powerful messages taught by Mr. Neblett, and the unique collection of art at the basketball camp makes this a one of a kind summer story for you to highlight. 2015 marks the seventh year of Mr. Neblett’s free camp for the youth and my father’s 40th year Painting Pioneers on the Path of Life.
Great stuff right?
