The Big Guy Gets a Big Win
Full disclaimer, I really don’t care about this feud or this match. None of these guys should be in the Intercontinental title picture, that belt should be going back and forth between Dean Ambrose, Roman Reigns, Bray Wyatt, Neville and all the other great young guys in the company.
Okay now that that’s out of the way, Show and Ryback beat the hell out of each other early as Miz stays outside and gets a cheap shot in. Ryback chases him and that leads to Miz and Ryback getting double suplexed by the Big Show in an impressive feat of strength.
Cole tells the Intercontinental title has changed hands more than any other at SummerSlam as Show climbs to the second rope and somersaults off of it and onto Ryback. Okay it wasn’t so much a somersault as it was Show rolling off the turnbuckle and that was hilarious.
Miz tries to steal the pin but Ryback kicks out so Show starts slamming Miz until Ryback takes his knees out and then plants Miz for the near-fall.
Now it’s Ryback’s turn to head up top as he hits a big splash on Miz!
Show immediately picks Ryback up and chokeslams him right onto the Miz and then pins Ryback for a near-fall!
Big Show now kicking Ryback in the ribs and he calls for the KO Punch. Ryback dodges it and hits a spine-buster on the big man and then a splash and tries to get the crowd riled up but they are about as into this match as I am.
Ryback goes for the Meat Hook Clothesline but Big Show stops him so he picks up Big Show and hits him with a ShellShocked!
Miz runs in and hits Ryback with a Skull Crushing Finale but Ryback kicks out! Miz tries to pin Big Show but he kicks out! Miz going back and forth between the two trying to get pins and they start kicking out even faster. Ryback picks Miz up for a Shell Shocked but Big Show knocks him out and goes for the pin!
Miz breaks it up and tries to steal the pin, then Big Show breaks it up and hits Miz with a KO punch. He tries to hit Ryback but the Big Guy dodges it and sends Show out of the ring before picking up Show’s scraps and pinning Miz for the win!
Okay I still hate this rivalry but at least that finish was well-done.
