Cleveland fans have a major decision come October 25, 2016. You either watch your boys get their rings or you watch Game 1 of the World Series across the street. What would you select?
I’m a believer in having two television sets side by side so you don’t miss a thing. However, for Cleveland fans, this may not be as tough because Game 1 of the World Series obviously takes priority in my eyes. Also, I feel that Cleveland is more of a baseball town. After all that, it makes sense that the Cavaliers are experiencing a drop in resale tickets.
The conflict has sent secondary-market Cavs tickets plummeting in price.
Lower-bowl, center-court seats are currently selling for $1,500 and below on sites like StubHub, whereas similar seats were priced at $5,000 in August, according to ESPN’s Darren Rovell.
If you have mastered the art of multitask, you can totally watch both games but if you ask me, Game 1 of the World Series is greater than Opening Night for the Cavaliers. Cleveland fans, choose wisely.
The Indians will play Game 1 of the World Series the same night as the Cavaliers open the NBA season getting their rings.
