East Tennessee State University football coach Randy Sanders has been suspended after hitting a player during practice.
Sources close to the program reveal that the player in question is freshman defensive back Tyree Robison. Allegedly, Sanders hit Robison in the helmet during practice when the player did not take a knee during the drill.
Although Sanders coached the team’s second scrimmage on Saturday, he’s been placed on “paid administrative leave pending the investigation of potential violation of university policy.”
