Stop me if you’ve heard this story before…
Curtis Stevens knocks a guy out in the ring, and a riot breaks out.
After middleweight, Curtis Stevens defeated Carlos Jairo Cruz by knockout in the Dominican Republic the crowd was upset, to say the least.
Displeased that that hometown guy lost, and quickly, a riot broke out complete with chair throwing and gunshots.
This isn’t the first time a Curtis Stevens win sent the crowd into a frenzy. The same thing happened in 2013 after Stevens defeated Elvin Ayala in Connecticut. Ayala’s family was so upset after Steven’s knocked him out, they invaded the ring.
