Jimmy Butler, Karl-Anthony Towns, and Andrew Wiggins don’t really get along.
Here is what Butler had to say about them in the past.
Sources familiar with the situation told Sporting News that Butler is uncertain about playing with Wiggins — Butler had problems last season with Wiggins, his work ethic and his approach on the defensive end of the floor. Thibodeau has had similar problems with Wiggins in the past, too, and he had some hope that bringing a tough-minded veteran like Butler into the locker room would spur Wiggins to improve. It didn’t.
As you can see things were a little tense.
Also, there were rumors about KAT being on the trading block or wanting a trade. Butler today told the T-Wolves he wanted out. While some say he simply wants to be the MAN in a bigger market, internet detectives have another theory on why he wants out and his strained relationship with KAT. According to the theory Jimmy Butler slept with KAT’s girlfriend Kawahine Andrade. Around the time it supposedly took place in May, KAT mysteriously stopped posting her on IG and vice versa. The internet detectives came to this conclusion after this T-Wolves birthday post to Butler.
