For some weird reason, media outlets have spent time debating whether it’s a good look or not for Lebron James, who was actively supporting his son play basketball, to join the layup line and step on the court to celebrate.
Most dads that attend their sons AAU games don’t jump in the layup lines but most dads aren’t Lebron James. However, the celebrating on the court is completely normal and happens all the time at AAU games so the criticism isn’t really valid.
According to Gary Charles, the director of the Las Vegas AAU tournament, he received Zero complaints about what Lebron was doing saying
So what he joins the layup line or celebrates on the court when Bronny and his teammates make a great play. That’s something those kids will remember forever.
