Around a week ago, Dabo Swinney’s football program was hit with a concerning allegation. If you haven’t read about it, it goes a little like this.
An ex-member of the Clemson football program, accused Danny Pearman of calling an DJ Greenlee, an ex-tight end for the Tigers, the n-word, and not being punished for his actions. Greenlee went on to say that Pearman didn’t call him the n-word, instead, he said Pearman was correcting him for using that sort of “language”.
Now Pearman is still on staff to this day, and the incident hasn’t really been brought up until recently. Swinney himself addressed the allegation around an hour or so ago, and defended his decision to keep Pearman on staff after what all went down.
It’s a tiring situation, one that has a clear solution, but we as Americans don’t like quickly solving situations do we?!
