Ex-NFL and FSU WR Travis Rudolph Claims Self Defense in Shooting; Says His Girlfriend Sent 4 Men to His House to Kill Him

BSO has more exclusive details on the first-degree murder charge that Ex-NFL and FSU WR Travis Rudolph is facing.

Like many things in life, it started over a woman.

According to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, the probable cause affidavit here is what happened.

Rudolph’s girlfriend told a man that she just had a fight with Rudolph. That guy and three other men drove to Rudolph’s house to confront him over it.

At that point, they all got into a fight.

At some point, Rudolph got a hold of his rifle and started shooting.

Two men were hit and one died on the street.

When the cops came to Rudolph’s house he immediately asked for a lawyer and was taken into custody, while a witness yelled out it was self-defense.
