One would hope that Albert Pujols and his wife Deidre had made the decision to divorce well before she found out she had a brain tumor.
If they didn’t, it would be pretty cold of Pujols to file for divorce, knowing his wife was about to have her head cut open during surgery.
Many people wondered why Pujols, divorce or not, wasn’t by her side during this operation, considering they do share five kids together.
Pujols has an answer for that, and I will tell you to know that you aren’t going to like it.
Pujols stated the doctors told him it was a routine procedure and not life-threatening. If it was life-threatening, Pujols said that he would have left camp to be with his estranged wife.
Meanwhile, here is what Deidre had to say about the surgery on Instagram.
Whether God healed me supernaturally or a doctor had to go in and get out this creepy invader, it is a miracle! The fact that they can open my head and get out the bad stuff and put it all back together blows my mind. I am grateful for Dr Louis and the whole Hoag hospital staff who saved my life and cared for me after such a major surgery. I plan to continue to get strong and continue to live my life’s mission out fully! Thank you to all who prayed and loved me through this.
She showed a photo of the tumor in her brain, and nothing looked routine about it. I understand modern medicine has come a long way, but I just can’t understand how you would let the mother of your five kids go through that without you.
You would have to put your differences aside and just be a good person at that point.
