Sports Illustrated reporter Grant Cohn and 49ers DT Javon Kinlaw have gotten a lot of attention lately.
The two had a little confrontation at 49ers OTAs where Cohn claims that one of the players knocked his hat off his head which then led to Kinlaw getting on a video call with Cohn.
While on the call, Kinlaw went off on Cohn which included him telling Cohn to “stop f*cking playing with me.”
“I’m a man just like you,” Kinlaw told him on the stream. “My nuts is bigger than yours, brother. Put some respect on my name. My balls is bigger than yours, brother. Put some respect on my name.”
“All I know is when I walked up on you, your fucking body temperature was fucking cold as ice,” Kinlaw said. “Straight b*tch. Your fucking balls shriveled up. Lil d*ck nigga. Stop fucking playing with me, bruh.”
Kinlaw added, “You don’t fucking know me like that. None of y’all mother fuckers know me like that, bruh. Stop playing with me. I’m not the one. I’m fucking not the one, bruh. My whole family know what you look like.”
Kinlaw got a lot of criticism for this but that was until his teammate Arik Armstead came to his defense.
Armstead went to Twitter with a video to show that Cohn does these things on purpose so he could get a player to hit him so he could sue and retire.
To add to all of this, TE George Kittle weighed in with his opinion on the matter saying he thought players and reporters were supposed to work together and said people get too comfortable typing behind a screen.
The question begs will the 49ers ban Cohn or address the situation? So far they have not.
