Leighton Vander Esch was hurt during a run play for the 49ers. He needed assistance getting to the sidelines and eventually the locker room.
Trent Williams obviously struck the Dallas Cowboys defender from behind as he attempted to make a tackle. His head struck the head of another player. The play, which resulted in a touchdown, did not draw a flag.
Trent Williams somehow gets away with everything on the field:
From block in the back, to punching opponents in the face.
Dirty dirty play.

Leighton Vander Esch should be able to recover from this incident without any problems and participate in the upcoming game.
