Unfortunately, during the New Orleans Saints vs. Detroit Lions game, an NFL official was in the wrong spot on the sidelines, severely injuring his leg.
The sideline worker and New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara collided horribly on Sunday, resulting in a likely fractured leg.
On a third down, Saints running back Alvin Kamara received a speed option flip from Derek Carr. He proceeded to the left sideline, where Lions linebacker Derrick Barnes smacked Kamara out of bounds with his shoulder.
When cameras focused on Kamara, it was evident that the sideline official had his leg bent to the side and was screaming in excruciating pain.

As soon as fans noticed Kamara’s response in the immediate aftermath, they became alarmed. Before sprinting back onto the field to resume the game, Kamara checked on the man.

While the sideline official was being attended to, play was halted. He was seen with an air cast on his left leg and would be carried off the field on a stretcher.
The Saints would tie the game, but things would get much closer after the Lions had taken a 21-7 lead at that point. Nevertheless, Jameis Winston would finish the game in place of injured Saints quarterback Derek Carr.
In the end, the Lions prevailed 33–28. On 14 attempts, Kamara gained 51 rushing yards and two touchdowns. In addition, he had 58 receiving yards from six receptions.
