All-Star guard Zach LaVine, who coach Billy Donovan stated will be out for another week due to inflammation in his right foot, will not be playing for the Chicago Bulls for a while longer.
LaVine sprained his right ankle during a game against the Toronto Raptors, which kept him out of action at first. But he’s back to missing 17 games this season due to tendinitis in his right foot.
Problems with the right foot
Donovan clarified that LaVine will not need to wait another week for a follow-up examination by the team’s physicians. Due to this situation, he won’t play until after the NBA trade deadline on February 8.

Donovan said,
“It’s still causing him problems, so it’s still going to be more time,” “The foot is inflamed and it’s going to be another week before he’s re-evaluated again. They’re hoping to quiet it down. We were all hoping it would happen a little sooner. But it hasn’t.”
