Fans can’t wait to watch that wild documentary about Diddy who is now at the center of assault lawsuits and more.

Sources Tuesday evening told TMZ that the streaming service topped other bidders following a frenzied period of activity, days after a 2016 clip of the rapper beating his ex-girlfriend Cassie was released in a video by CNN.

The outlet reported that other streaming services and networks were involved in the effort to acquire the rights to the multi-chapter documentary, produced by the 48-year-old rapper’s G-Unit Film and Television Studios.

Amid the ongoing developments surrounding Diddy, 54, insiders told the outlet that Netflix is angling to get the documentary on its slate of new releases ‘sooner than later.’

Diddy on Sunday admitted that he beat his ex-girlfriend Cassie in a hotel hallway in 2016 after CNN released video of the attack, saying in a video apology he was ‘truly sorry’ and his actions were ‘inexcusable.’

‘I take full responsibility for my actions in that video. I was disgusted then when I did it. I´m disgusted now,’ the music mogul said in a video statement posted Sunday to Instagram and Facebook.

50 Cent and Diddy have bad blood stemming back at least 18 years, as 50 Cent in 2006 put out a song titled The Bomb hurling insults at his longtime rap rival, implying that Diddy was aware of the identity of the person who killed Notorious B.I.G. in 1997.

After Diddy’s apology video Sunday, 50 Cent expressed his skepticism of Diddy trying to navigate through what looks to be a career-ending crisis.

‘This is not going to work, who is advising him right now?’ the Grammy-winning rap artist said on the social media platform. ‘SMH bad move.’

50 Cent, whose hits include Candy Shop, P.I.M.P. and If I Can’t, initially reacted to the circulation of the clip Friday, saying, ‘Now I’m sure puffy didn’t do it, he is innocent this proves nothing! This is what his lawyers are gonna say. God help us all.’

Well, looks like we’ll soon be able to catch 50 Cent’s documentary on Diddy’s sex assault accusations on Netflix after a massive bidding war! It’s going to be a must-watch and we cannot wait.
