Deion Sanders Enforces Highly Strict Rules for Coaches and Players : ‘No Phones While Breakfast or Lunch’

Deion Sanders and the Colorado Buffaloes take their game very seriously, even if it’s just a game. The club finished the 2023 season with a 1-8 record, which devastated the program going into the offseason after it began the year with a very promising 3-0 record.

The Buffaloes head coach has instituted very severe regulations in order to prevent any lack of dedication from players and coaches, as well as to hold them accountable for any error that has been committed in the recent past.

Deion Sanders wants to continue at Colorado

Following numerous players’ transfers out of the program, Deion Sanders and his coaching staff unveiled a new roster along with new rules. His most recent regulation of “no phones during breakfast or lunch” is reportedly having an impact already.

Even though a few student-athletes have expressed their disapproval of the circumstance, everyone follows suit. But the players have to abide by more rules than just the no-phone rule. Since tough restrictions are being imposed on a regular basis, Deion Sanders has tightened up everything relating to discipline at Colorado.

Will this strategy for for Deion Sanders?

After Deion Sanders and other student-athletes finished their obligations, there were unruly situations, and Coach Prime did not want any problems in 2024 after all the excitement surrounding their arrival.

To produce results on the field, the Buffaloes head coach is ensuring that the players maintain their discipline off the field. Recently, Uncle Nelly of The Pregame Network discussed the importance of everything for the football program this season and how it will all be seen on the field.

Everyone is hoping that it will have a positive impact in the classroom and on the field. He declared,

“(It’s just) talking about the discipline of being in meetings on time. Watching your film. Being where you’re supposed to be. Take your tray up at the cafeteria. The little things. If you’re not disciplined enough to get to a meeting on time, you’re not gonna be disciplined enough to wait on that snap and get that good jump,”
