Over elite players like Justin Jefferson, CeeDee Lamb, Ja’Marr Chase, and others, Davante Adams feels he’s the finest wide receiver in the NFL. Adams said on Club Shay Shay,
“If you say the best, [myself], and you probably go [Jefferson] after that,”
“… Over the last six years, there’s only been one person people can’t take out of their top three, and that’s me.”

A player’s self-confidence is always crucial, and going into his tenth NFL season, Adams seems to have plenty of it.
In his second season with the Las Vegas Raiders, Davante Adams’ stats were lower last season, despite his belief that he is the top receiver in the league. With eight touchdowns, he was tied for seventh in the NFL in terms of receiving touchdowns, and 1,144 yards, which ranked him as the league’s 15th best. Though it’s possible that he wasn’t totally to blame for those numbers dropping dramatically from the prior three seasons.
The Raiders’ offensive woes could have been caused by Davante Adams‘s inconsistency, as he had to handle collecting passes from two different quarterbacks.
He’ll want to demonstrate this season that he remains one of the NFL’s best receivers.
