Shaquille O’Neal’s Funny Take on Kenny Smith’s Gas Budget Is Viral Again

Every other episode that has ever been broadcast on television include a few gems from the Inside the NBA crew. And in one of them, Shaquille O’Neal gave his co-host Kenny “The Jet” Smith a funny and unbelievable explanation of gas price budgets, leaving the rest of the team in stitches and giggling uncontrollably.

When Shaq explained how much gas a car should have for a better breakdown overall, he felt like he had struck gold. The three co-hosts who were still laughing couldn’t believe what The Big Aristotle had just explained.

“Shaq – When it gets to half, then you put $20 you bring it back to full.

Kenny – But I’ would have to stop more often to bring it back to $80.

Shaq – No you wouldn’t. You’re complaining about when it gets to zero you spend $80. Right? When it gets to half, you put $20, then when it get back to half, you put $20.

Kenny – But I keep stopping, putting $20 it’ll be $80. It’s the same amount of gas. I’m traveling with the same amount of gas.

Shaq – Kenny, an average human stops once a week for gas, right? But you? You only work here twice, you’d probably have to stop maybe once every two weeks. Don’t even try.”

Shaquille O’Neal and his constant trolling

While Shaq sat there looking like a “proud dad,” others were giggling at his “poor math” explanation of how to fill up his car with gas. Shaq thought it was better to get $20 of petrol every time the tank reached half full as opposed to paying $80 for a full tank.

The very next minute, co-host Ernie Johnson treated viewers to a gem, comparing Shaq’s explanation to yet another outrageous theory, all thanks to this “supposed” method.

However, in spite of the fact that O’Neal’s allegations were disputed by all three co-hosts, the Lakers icon chose to stick with his approach rather than give in and accept the consensus. The entire two and a half-minute portion of the show is quite valuable.
