While her ex-husband Ben Affleck gives it a wide berth, Jennifer Lopez makes it apparent that she thinks it’s best to put yourself out there as she promotes her new movie Unstoppable.
Although Ben, who co-produced the movie, is avoiding red carpet events to avoid any unpleasant confrontations, the actress looked stunning in a sparkly, low-cut dress. Just two years after getting married, J-Lo, 55, and Ben, 52, filed for divorce in August. They haven’t been spotted together since the announcement.
Additionally, when she answered questions from a director’s chair at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood, she made no mention of Ben. Jharrel Jerome, who plays former wrestler Anthony Robles in the movie about his life, spent time with J-Lo, who later changed into a pair of cream shorts and a matching blazer for the celebration.
When Unstoppable debuted at the Toronto Film Festival last month, J-Lo was also the main attraction. Ben decided not to attend the event. Instead, Matt Damon, his co-director and close friend, was present. At the premiere after-party, Matt was seen chatting with J-Lo. The duo held hands for almost twenty minutes, according to onlookers, who also mentioned that “Jen and Matt had a long, deep conversation.”
In 2022, Matt, a 54-year-old Hollywood star, attended J-Lo and Ben’s second wedding ceremony in Georgia.
