Mikal Bridges Trolled by Anthony Edwards During the Game

Anthony Edwards‘ humorous demeanor, which has won over NBA fans since his first day in the league, has been somewhat overshadowed by his recent heroics. However, yesterday’s Timberwolves preseason game against the New York Knicks gave us another chance to witness Ant’s humorous side. The 23-year-old ridiculed Mikal Bridges’ shooting style to demonstrate his trash-talking prowess.

Even though Ant-Man gave it his all, the Wolves fell 110-115. The T-Wolves star even made an attempt to irritate the opposition, but to no avail. But his criticism of Bridges’ form must have hurt the 28-year-old.

Earlier today, a video showing Edwards disparaging Bridges appeared online. The Knicks star can be seen making free throws in the video.

Anthony Edwards’s hillarious comments on Mikal Bridges

Ant began to remark, “That n_ done changed his shot, man,” after Bridges missed the opening attempt. Bridges must have succumbed to the strain, because Ant was able to roast him after he missed the free shot.

The Knicks great finished with three assists, four rebounds, and 15 points. He made two of his three free throws and had a 6-11 field goal and a 1-4 three-point shooting percentage.

In contrast, Ant had a fantastic game, scoring 31 points, pulling down two rebounds, and dishing out three assists. He made 1-2 shots from the charity stripe, 8-13 from beyond the arc, and 11-19 from the field. Ant has made trash-talking a habit. Not even his basketball idol, Kevin Durant, is spared by the two-time All-Star.

However, Ant had a point in Bridges’ case. The 28-year-old’s peculiar form has garnered media attention. Earlier this month, the Knicks supporters began to worry about his unconventional shooting style.

Because of his two-way skills, Bridges’ name generated a lot of enthusiasm when he joined the team in July. Fans thought his form was a little off when they watched a video of him honing his three-point shot. He maintains the ball high in the air after releasing it from nearly behind his head.

Fans will only be concerned with Bridges’ effectiveness, though. Fans will quickly ignore the Knicks star’s distinctive stance if he shoots successfully.
