And let me tell you, fans are absolutely loving it. It’s no surprise though – Clark is a total powerhouse on the court and now she’s showing off her skills as she’s ready to tear things up in the next game.
The Indiana Fever’s star rookie was captured on video Tuesday showing off her multi-sport skills after practice. In the clip, Clark confidently picked up a football and launched a picture-perfect, high-arching spiral from one end of the court all the way to the other, hitting her target in stride. The throw drew cheers from teammates and staff, and quickly made its way around social media, where fans marveled at her effortless athleticism.
Her impromptu quarterback audition comes at the tail end of what has been a challenging stretch physically. Clark has missed the Fever’s last five games while rehabbing a groin injury, and earlier this season she also sat out with a left quadriceps strain.
Despite the setbacks, the No. 1 overall pick is expected to make her much-anticipated return on Wednesday night when the Fever face the Golden State Valkyries.
With moves like that, it’s clear she would be a force to be reckoned with in Indiana Fever’s next game.
