Video: Angel Reese Goes Viral After Furiously Knocking Down Clipboard From Coach’s Hand During Sky’s Defeat

Did you all see that video of Angel Reese knocking down the coach’s clipboard during Chicago Sky’s game with Washington Mystics?

Angel Reese went viral faster than you can say “swish” after that moment during the Sky’s big defeat.

I mean, who hasn’t wanted to just take that clipboard and chuck it across the court sometimes in difficult moments of a game? But Angel actually did it! And the internet went wild.

The 23-year-old rookie star, already under the spotlight after her fiery criticism of WNBA officiating, let her emotions spill over in the closing seconds of a nail-biter against the Washington Mystics.

With just under 30 seconds left in regulation at George Mason University and the score tied 77-77, the Sky challenged a loose-ball foul that could have determined the outcome. As players gathered near the bench during the review, cameras captured Reese visibly seething.

The broadcast then showed the 6’3” forward pacing with her arms folded before one of the Sky coaches approached her holding a clipboard. Without hesitation, Reese slapped the clipboard forcefully out of the coach’s hands, sending papers flying as her teammates looked on.

Despite her frustration, Reese delivered an impressive individual performance, finishing with a game-high 22 points along with 15 rebounds. The Sky ultimately fell just short, losing by two points in the final moments—a gut-wrenching defeat that extended their losing streak.

It’s moments like these that make sports so entertaining, even when the game doesn’t go your way. We’re definitely keeping an eye on Angel Reese for more epic moments on and off the court.
