Michaela Rylaarsdam, a married OnlyFans creator from Menifee, is set to be sentenced after the death of 55-year-old Michael Dale during a recorded encounter that went horrifyingly wrong.

And honestly, this entire story reads like somebody ignored every possible red flag imaginable.

Authorities say Dale paid Rylaarsdam $11K for what was described as a “wild” session at his home in Escondido in California. Prosecutors alleged the encounter involved duct tape over his mouth along with a plastic bag and Saran Wrap over his head while his limbs were restrained.

According to investigators, because Dale’s arms and legs were bound, he could not remove the bag or wrapping himself. Authorities said he remained inside the bag for around eight minutes before the situation turned fatal. Dale was later declared brain dead the following day.

At that point, the “fun night” officially became an episode of “Why Did Anyone Think This Was A Good Idea?”

Rylaarsdam reportedly told authorities she immediately called 911 after realizing something was wrong. Investigators also revealed her husband, Brandon Rylaarsdam, knew about her OnlyFans business and even helped manage it, which somehow adds another layer of “what in the Netflix documentary is happening here?”

She described herself as an “upscale and classy creation” with “10 years of experience.” On her Secret Hostess page, she claimed to be a “chameleon of this industry,” offering “intoxicating and provocative performance[s]” and “naughty games.”

Her website advertised several services, including the “Ultimate Incall,” her highest-priced offering at $1,500.

Other services included the “Toy Show” for $200 and the “Wild Incall” for $1,100, while a “Mild Incall” was listed at $800. Outcall services were offered at rates $300 lower than the corresponding in-call options.

Rylaarsdam also advertised FaceTime or Zoom play sessions for $150 and noted that a $25 nonrefundable deposit was required.

Rylaarsdam reportedly specialized in “incorporat[ing] acrobatics into my lap dances,” boasting that “NO OTHER listed on this site is as professional as I am.”

The internet especially locked onto the $11K payment because apparently people online cannot process spending that much money on anything other than rent, luxury watches, or NBA floor seats.

Her attorney, Dan Cohen, previously stated that his client had no intention of killing Dale, arguing that although consent is not a legal defense, it is “certainly a mitigating factor.”

“I think there was no intent to kill and no attempt to cover this up,” he said. “And she acted appropriately when she realized this was a problem.

“There is definitely a consensual element — not only something he consented to, something he was actively seeking.”

The biggest lesson here? Real life is not social media content. There are no edits, no retakes, and definitely no “delete draft” button when things go wrong.
