LaMelo Ball‘s camouflage-colored custom Hummer wreck in Charlotte last February was a topic of much discussion. Ball was observed driving his red Rolls-Royce Cullinan more cautiously and at a slower pace later that month.
Although some claim that LaMelo is now a better driver after crashing his Hummer, he isn’t taking any chances now that he’s in Minnesota. The 2021 NBA Rookie of the Year said that he has hired a driver and now drives a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter van around town in the first episode of his father LaVar’s new podcast, “The LaVar Ball Show.”
LaVar Ball asked:
“What kind of whips are we rolling in these days, man? I know Melo, you got 12 cars, man. Which one you rolling in these days?”
LaMelo said: “Sprinter…I got a driver”.
“Oh, you got a driver? They said you was too busy running into folks, man.”
LaMelo Ball says he has a driver now.
LaVar: “They said you was too busy running into folks, man.” 🤣😅

Recall that in February of last year, LaMelo’s Hummer struck an approaching vehicle head-on while he was navigating the busy Trade and Tryon junction in downtown Charlotte. Fortunately, nobody was hurt in the collision, though both cars sustained damage.
