In an attempt to counteract the Knicks’ move of signing Amar’e Stoudemire, the Bulls have agreed to terms with Carlos Boozer on a 5-year, $80 million deal.
This is done in part to once again woo LeBron James to Chicago.
Even if The King doesn’t go to Chi City, the Bulls are still a solid team that I believe could compete with Miami, Boston, Orlando, and whoever LeBron ends up signing with.
Just speaking personally, I have said from Day 1 that Chicago was best place to go if he wanted to win and win immediately. Adding Boozer makes Chicago even more attractive.
