According to Bleacher Report’s Jason Cole, Vikings QB Teddy Bridgewater may not be ready to return to the field until March, 2018.
Cole says sources estimate the recovery time for his knee injury to be 19 months, which means he will sit out another season and even then his future is uncertain.
The Vikings traded their 1st round pick in the upcoming 2017 draft to the Eagles for Sam Bradford when Teddy was originally injured but that yielded them lackluster results.
To be fair, the vikings were a very good team to start the 2016 season but injuries to the defense and offensive line led to a drastic decline.
Sam Bradford threw for 3,877 yards, 20 touchdowns and five interceptions this season and with him being under contract for another year the Vikings have some insurance in case these reports hold true.
