Jimmy Butler’s Baby Mama Kaitlin Nowak Says They Live Together After Paternity Settlement

Golden State Warriors forward Jimmy Butler and the mother of his three children are sharing a home again, according to new court papers filed by his ex-girlfriend after more than a year of legal wrangling over custody and support.

Kaitlin Nowak told a court she and Butler recently reached a “comprehensive” parenting-plan agreement and that she is living with the six-time All-Star, TMZ reported Wednesday. Nowak added that “there are other circumstances which can be presented to the court” without spelling those circumstances out in the public filing.

She said she believes the remaining issues can be fully resolved within 45 to 60 days and asked the judge to keep the case on the docket while they finish the deal.

The turnaround is striking because the two spent much of the last two-plus years fighting in court.

Nowak sued in October 2023 to establish paternity and child support. A judgment a couple of months later declared Butler the biological father of their three children — daughter Rylee, born in 2019, and sons Brayan (2022) and Kian (2023) — and the sides reached a support agreement.

Court records showed Butler had been paying Nowak $55,000 a month in child support plus another $10,000 a month for childcare. The fight dragged on. Butler’s side argued Nowak was unemployed and refusing to look for work, and later challenged the extra nanny money as the older kids entered school and preschool.

Now the same filings that once detailed the money fight say the pair have hashed out a parenting plan — and that they are living under one roof.

Butler has not publicly commented on the latest papers. The Warriors have not issued a statement. Nowak’s filing does not describe whether the living arrangement is temporary, tied to co-parenting logistics, or something more.

For a player whose off-court drama has followed him from Miami to Golden State, the latest chapter is less a courtroom knockout than an unexpected plot twist: the woman who took him to court over support is now telling a judge they share a home and are close to wrapping the case.
