Former #1 overall pick Jake Long hinted at not always feeling the love from the team that drafted him in 2008, the Miami Dolphins, so he’s decided to take his game to St. Louis.
After a lot of back and forth on Long’s part and not being sure where he wanted to be, Pro Football Talk is reporting that Long and the Rams have agreed on a four year deal worth $34 million and an annual salary of $8.5 million.
The deal can be worth up to $36 million if long can reach certain incentives. Long gets $16 million fully guaranteed, with another $4 million that will become fully guaranteed in 2014.
Jeff Fisher may have finally started to put together the pieces that will allow quarterback Sam Bradford to stay upright, and actually be productive.
