Sunday’s contest between the Houston Rockets and Cleveland Cavaliers more than lived up to the hype it received going into it.
The battle was down to the wire and hard fought, with each team receiving multiple flagrants and techs. Perhaps none more egregious, however, than Harden’s now infamous kick to the King’s manlihood.
Asked of the play after the game, Harden said to reporters that it was “just a reaction“. Debatable. And LeBron, for one, isn’t buying it.
“That’s not a basketball play and the league will probably take a look at it,” James said. “I have no idea why he would do that.”
Truth be told, Lebron was probably still salty about blowing a win at the free throw line (a win that would have made 11 in a row and moved them into first place in the Central Division, by the way), but he may have a case here. That Vine of Harden definitely makes it look like he did it on purpose.
Keep it locked here for developing updates from the league on this one.
