DMX must be trying to set a record on how many times a rapper can be arrested in a 10-year time period. A judge in Jersey issued an arrest warrant for DMX after he failed to show up for a child support hearing that he promised he would attend.
In the end, the judge may have had the hottest line of 2015, when he speaks on DMX having fun performing from jail.
Judge Paul Marx was livid when DMX didn’t turn up for a scheduled court date at Westchester County Supreme Court, eVEN THOUGH THE RAPPER GAVE HIS WORD THAT HE WOULD.
Instead of showing up, DMX was was performing in Las Vegas for “DMXmas” at the Foxtail Nightclub. His lawyer told the judge the rapper thought the court date was Dec. 15 – not Dec. 14 – but the judge wasn’t buying it.
“It’s going to be really hard to perform at the Westchester County Jail,” the judge said. DMX “sat here at the table and said, ‘If you let me go, I’m coming back.’ Well, he ain’t here. It’ll be interesting to see if TSA picks him up on a warrant.”
Dark Man X might be spending his Christmas in jail, so he might want to stay in Vegas for a while until this all gets straighten out.
He has been ordered to pay his Ex-Wife Tasha $10k a month in child support, he has made one payment so far.
