I believe it was just a regular photo opportunity, but the Wahoo’s definitely could used this for the team photo as well.
In a powerful message of unity in the ACC — The University of Virginia men’s basketball team posed for a photo as a sign of unity against social injustice Thursday night.
The team — dressed in all black with arms interlocked, knelt at midcourt of the John Paul Jones Arena practice floor.
Several players posted photos of the powerful moment — tweeting “Kneel for Injustice, Kneel for Equality” — while Senior guard London Perrantes tweeted the image and the quote saying — “Using our platform to help [create] change. TOGETHER!”
