Richland Correctional Institution in Mansfield, OH had a hell of a start to Christmas. Four packages were thrown over its prison fence by 21-year-old Avery Ingram as he wanted to make the inmates’ Christmas special.
At 9AM on Christmas Eve, packages of tobacco, marijuana, and cell phones were all discovered in the prison. It didn’t take long for the Ohio State Highway Patrol to find Avery. Officials are still unaware of who the packages were sent for specifically.
Avery has been charged with criminal trespassing, illegal conveyance of drugs onto the grounds of an institution, and illegal conveyance of electronics onto the grounds of an institution. Avery might’ve paid the price for giving these unique gifts away but he definitely took one for the team here.
