Before you share your opinions, remember that this was for a good cause. Alright, you’re allowed to judge considering how excited Brad Pitt appeared to look. He was outbid at Sean Penn’s annual charity event as he attempted to watch Game of Thrones with Emilia Clarke.
For starters, this auction reminded me of ESPN’s odd player auction except here, Sean Penn is actually trying to do something good. His annual event is meant to benefit Haiti. How he got Emilia Clarke to agree to this is really interesting but anyway, we’re more interested to learn how Brad Pitt lost and that’s what I’m here for. Variety shared the story.
Pitt offered to pay $120,000 to watch an episode of “Game of Thrones” with Emilia Clarke — but he was outbid.
Pitt bid six figures to watch a “Game of Thrones” episode with Clarke on Saturday night during a silent auction at Sean Penn’s annual gala for Haiti, held at Milk Studios in Los Angeles, California.
During the charity gala, the auctioneer announced the opportunity to watch an episode with Clarke, who was in attendance at the A-list event, along with her “Game of Thrones” co-star Kit Harington, though the cast members were seated at separate tables.
It must be nice to just offer that much money just to watch a show that she’s already apart of. Ahh, the lifestyle of the rich and famous.
Pitt’s dreams turned to shambles as a “gala-goes” outbid him with a whopping $160,000. Whoever that person is can also donate to my GoFundMe.
